I was at work this morning and one of my coworkers said “What’s wrong with your eye?”<\/em> Not sure what he was talking about I asked for more information. He said “your right eye looks bloody…you might want to go check it out in a mirror…”<\/em> so I did. Sure enough, there was a splotch of blood in the lower corner of my right eye. <\/p>\n\n\n

Mind you, it didn’t hurt at all. In fact, only when he mentioned it did it seem to itch a little bit. About an hour later, I developed a headache, but I don’t believe that the two things were related. I took two Tylenol, and about an hour later, the pain inside my head went away on its own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a kidney stone procedure in the morning, and I’ll mention the issue to the nurses in case they want to add it to my chart, but I did a little digging on Dr. Google<\/a>, and it doesn’t seem to be anything to be overly concerned about. Just something that looks worse than it actually is. I’m rather surprised I haven’t encountered this before, as the article says it can happen even from a ‘hard sneeze’ and for several days I’ve been doing that. So perhaps that’s where it came from. Or not. I’m not going to spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about it. I have other things at present to occupy my brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
