We’re Ready

Just finished up on the garage about an hour ago. The car is inside. As I commented to my friend from VA, and my wife; if the car had been an inch or two longer, I would have had to do some serious rearranging of how the garage is situated around where the car sits. Even so, like other years, it tells me that I need to do some serious work on what’s in the garage, because there are lots of opportunities for making room, reutilizing the space and generally making the garage more friendly for both the summer and the winter.

Generally in the summer it becomes a ‘catch-all’ for debris, and come winter that stuff has to be stored in the building in such a way that the car can fit in amongst it. Items are stacked on the sides, sometimes rather haphazardly in order to accommodate the car, and by the time Spring rolls around, it’s already become a bit of a mess. Then the process starts all over again. Every year I say “its going to be different” and then it never is. I guess 2026 will be the game changer?

Anyway, it can be as cold as it wants now, and it can snow to its heart’s content. The Murano is in the garage, and we’re set for snowstorm ‘Fern’.
